If you are not comfortable on skis and want to discover the region in a different way during your stay, we offer various winter activities outside of the ski area but in the fresh air, such as snowshoeing or marked hikes in the forest in the quiet and away from the resort.

From the village, discover the winter landscapes with the fir trees under the white gold, observe the most beautiful snow-covered peaks of the Swiss Alps, such as the view of the Dent Blanche or the Matterhorn. The different itineraries are adapted to each level and reserve their share of discoveries. For example, the didaludic trail to learn more about the hosts of the bear forest or the chottes walk that leads you to its restaurant in the heart of the ski area in an hour’s hike.

Whether you are looking for family walks or more demanding mountain hikes, the tourist office will be happy to advise you on the best route tailored to your needs depending on snow conditions and the number of kilometers.

The Thyon region also offers ice skating or dog sledding with real musher. Experience your first incredible sliding sensation in a magical setting under the white gold in the company of Huskies.

Other activities especially suited for families with children: The rink is next to the playground and the 1800 refreshment stand, which offers local snacks as well as hot drinks. The eisstock tournament and ice disco at the ice rink refreshment bar will provide you with fun after a day of skiing. The little ones can also enjoy our three playgrounds spread over the different levels of the resort. Toboggan, zip line, or swing are waiting for you or simply build a snowman.

The electric quads tours on the square of Thyon 2000 every Thursday from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm will make the most adventurous happy
